Spiritual Mass also known in Spanish as Misa, is a part of the practice Espiritismo. Though the article affirms the claim that Espiritismo was founded by Allan Kardec, there were already traditional religions on the island of Cuba since before his birth and those religions believed in communing with spirits. The Misa centers around having communion with the spirits of present individuals and those spirits can vary from spirit guides to ancestors. Though the Misa is not widely known in some circles, it remains a very prominent and community building practice that sharpens the mediumship abilities of all who attend.
Though Misas are a production, they are being held often enough to find yourself attending several in rapid succession depending on the area you live and the people with whom you trust your spiritual progress.
