How many glasses of water does your boveda have?

Traditionally, in Mesa Blanca Espiritismo, the number of glasses has always been 7. I have been seeing a growing trend of people practicing Santerismo, which mixes this form of Espiritismo and Santeria. Santerismo blurs the lines between the two, to such an extent that people are now setting 9 glasses and giving the justification of "because Oya's number is 9" or "9 is the number of Eggun". This is wrong on many levels but has become a widespread practice and with elders teaching students who in turn, teach their students... We are seeing the rise of Bovedas that historically never had anything to do with the Orisha traditions become more and more consumed by them.
