Numbing, Walled

Are there ever any spiritual reasons behind feeling numb?

Like, feeling that there are parts of you that are there but don't have access to, like a wall.

Spirits in general do not have feeling of the body. They do not feel pain at all.

The numbing is mostly associated with their closeness.
