There are various forms of readings in the world of the spirits, Palo Mayombe having a few of its own. The most common forms of readings known in this tradition are Chamalongo and Bititi Nkobo. For the purpose of making our spiritual readings as insightful and precise as possible, we use Bititi Nkobo for all spiritual readings.

Palo Mayombe is an African Traditional Religion that was brought to Cuba via Slave Trade and the descendants of Kongo dia Ntotila (Continental Bakongo) preserved the legacy of what they inherited. The tradition has been heavily persecuted and shrouded in secrecy for a long time. Due to this, the public knows next to nothing about it and what little they do know, is heavily focused on negativity. This is a complete traditional religion with both concepts of good and bad and an understanding of them. It can just as easily help resolve generational issues, remove negative entities and energies, provide protection, blessings and healing. 

Chamalongo is a divination system where the hard outer shell of coconuts or sea shells is used to throw and receive messages from the spirits. It is regarded as the primordial system and has a very precise methodology. Ask yes or no questions and get back answers. No nonsense.

Bititi Nkobo is a divination system where tiger cowrie shells are thrown to receive messages from spirits in a more complex and personalized as well as personified manner. They provide proverbs, general messages and warnings. This divination system is considered to be very extensive and enlightening but is also harder to master or understand from a diviners aspect.

• What is a Premium Donation?
  – A premium donation is a donation to our temple of a certain amount. The amount can change over time or with special events so please pay attention to our Twitter for any changes to what a Premium Donation is.
• What do I need to make this spiritual reading a positive experience?
  – You want to have your questions written, have some paper and pen or pencil on hand, be available at your booked time and have your phone nearby.
• How long is a spiritual reading?
  – Around an hour, some can go a little over or a little under depending on the messages the spirits have to deliver to you.
• What divination method do you use?
  – We use Bititi Nkobo, read above for more information as to what this is.
• What is included your spiritual readings?
  – We determine your luck, determine a proverb, deliver general messages and at the end you can ask any questions.
• How often should I have a spiritual reading?
  – Generally speaking, you should aim to have them about once a month OR as needed. If you feel there are things going wrong and its too much to be coincidence, that would be a perfect example of when you should book a spiritual reading regardless of any amount of days.
• Can I receive a reading even if i’m not initiated or practicing any tradition?
  – Absolutely.
• Will there be anything that I have to do afterwards?
  – There is no sense in telling someone that already has their spirituality in order to do anything extra that can actually throw off their spirituality and make things worse, only when something is wrong are you told to do additional things like take a bath or cleanse your home. When you are told to do these things, you are given specific instructions on how to do them and what you will need.
• Are there any rules to these spiritual readings?
  – Due to the nature of the reading and the private prayers that are said, there is no recording allowed.
  – If you are already an initiate of Palo Mayombe, you have to mention this before we begin because that changes the process.
  – If you are given any tasks to do like a cleanse, you are solely responsible for doing them.
  – Premium Donations to the temple are due before booking. If we see a booking without the donation and you were not instructed to make the booking, we will ignore that booking.
  – Unless otherwise agreed upon, spiritual readings are for the person booking the spiritual reading or the name provided on the form. This means that while we can attempt to get answers about others, this is not about them… Its about you.

 Cancellations and Rescheduling

• Rescheduling and canceling spiritual readings is allowed and accepted, if you have any issues with these you can reach out to us directly.
• We reserve the right to cancel any spiritual reading for any reason, if we cancel a spiritual reading we will offer a full refund of any donation connected to that reading in a show of good faith.
• If you cancel a spiritual reading and do not schedule another, we will take it as a cancellation and not a reschedule. We will refund any donations connected to the spiritual reading but beware there may be a small fee involved to cover our processing fees.
• If we are running late to a spiritual reading for any reason, we will proceed to reach out as soon as possible. We will not cancel unless the spiritual reading is completely impossible to do within your chosen time. If this happens, you can decide if you would like to reschedule or cancel and that would fall upon our fault, granting you a full refund of your donations made in connection with the spiritual reading.
• If we reach out and you are unavailable for the spiritual reading, we will continue to try to reach you with the provided contact information until the spiritual reading is no longer possible within your chosen time. If this happens, you can decide if you would like to reschedule or cancel and that would fall upon your fault, granting you a refund of any donations made in connection with the spiritual reading. Keep in mind, there may be a small fee to cover our processing cost.
